Our Story

At B&B Design Solutions, we specialize in creating pipe fabrication drawings that comply with ASME B31 code and provide comprehensive design solutions to mechanical contractors, general contractors, manufacturing and EPC companies.

We leverage industry-leading tools like Autodesk Revit and Spoolfab to create accurate spool cut sheets and fully coordinated BIM piping design packages. Our services include 3D modeling, equipment layouts, piping layouts, isometric drawings, and fabrication spool drawings—ensuring precision from concept to construction.

Our Mission

At B&B Design Solutions, our mission is to become a long-term reliable support for contractors and redefine piping design standards by delivering top-notch solutions that exceed client expectations.

Who We Are

We are a team of dedicated professionals with over 13 years of experience in piping design and drafting, committed to providing unmatched services in the field of pipe fabrication and design coordination.

How We Work?

Spool Production (Using SpoolFab)

  1. We receive the ISO package or PCF files from the client.

  2. Our team reviews the drawings and divides the isometrics into appropriate spool numbers.

  3. We generate detailed, individual spool drawings using SpoolFab software. (View Samples)

  4. Each spool drawing goes through a four-step quality process:

    • Drafter creates the spools.

    • Checker reviews for accuracy and compliance.

    • Drafter performs back-draft corrections.

    • Checker conducts a final verification before release.

  5. The final spool drawing package (PDF) is issued to the client via email for fabrication use.

Design Coordination (BIM Piping Design)

  1. We receive the engineering drawing package from the customer and assess the project scope.

  2. After review, we prepare a detailed quotation including total design hours and pricing.

  3. Once approved, we create a Project Review Document to ensure all required inputs are available — such as engineering drawings, specifications, equipment submittals, and control schematics.

  4. 3D modeling begins, and regular coordination meetings are held to keep all stakeholders aligned.

  5. We generate and submit the Equipment Layout, Piping Layout, and 3D Piping Model for review and approval. (View Samples)

  6. Upon approval, we produce fabrication spool drawings for the approved systems.

  7. A comprehensive Bill of Materials (BOM) is prepared and included in the final deliverables.

  8. Any coordination issues are resolved promptly through Teams meetings or email communication.

  9. The final drawing set (PDF format) is delivered to the client via email.
